The decision was made at a WH meeting on Monday that included Secy of #State #MarcoRubio, VP #JDVance, Secy of #Defense #PeteHegseth, Dir of National #Intelligence #TulsiGabbard & #MiddleEast envoy #SteveWitkoff.

The move follows an order last week by Hegseth for US #Cyber Command to halt offensive cyber & #information operations against #Russia as long as negotiations to end the war are ongoing.

The continually repeated claims that #Russia 'lost' the #ColdWar are sounding a little tired and a little desperate. Russian #cyber operations have been material in breaking the #UK out of the #EU, and installing #fascist or near fascist regimes in the USA, Hungary, and (for a period) Poland, and the advance of fascist and near fascist parties in virtually every country in Europe.

That's a very odd way of 'losing'.

If working in tech and especially #cyber #security in #Dublin, this is a seriously well run event and anyone who makes it happen gets big kudos.

Please share with folks in your tech organizations to reach out. I can't stress enough that there is a real need for events like this, this isn't an event for companies to shill B2B sales.

It's where you go to hire and find skilled employees and ensure a new generation of wizards. I've met so many folks who have helped my career at events like this.
